Just a quick post to share a Garageband project put together by my roommate and me.

Baker performed guitars, bass, keyboard and vocals. I'll link to his myspace once I find out where it is. He takes all songwriting credits -- I just pitched in with the drum parts.

Baker used a Tascam US-428 interface and a Novation ReMote LE MIDI controller. I don't have his mic and guitar details at the moment.

I used a Tascam FW-1082 interface and a Yamaha DTXpress II electronic drumkit.

Baker has another 10 songs or so waiting for me to add drums to, and the plan is to bring all the tracks into Logic Express for mixing on my FW-1082 once we're mostly happy with the arrangements. Short of a Gigastudio, Reason Drumkits 2.0 offers the most playable drum samples I've found lately, so I might also feed my drums tracks through ReWire. I'm pretty new to the world of digital audio production, but so far it's a lot of fun to play with!
